CloudLinux Resource Limits for Resellers
As a reseller hosting customer with access to CloudLinux Manager, you can manage and fine-tune resource allocations for your hosting packages and individual users. These resources include CPU, RAM (PMEM), I/O, IOPS, Entry Processes (EP), and Number of Processes (NPROC).
CloudLinux Manager availability and resource limits vary depending on the reseller package you are using. The details below outline the limits and capabilities for each plan.
CloudLinux Resource Breakdown
Each CloudLinux resource plays a key role in server performance and account stability.
CPU (CPU Usage)
Defines the percentage of CPU power allocated to a user or package.
Example: 100% CPU = 1 dedicated CPU core.
Exceeding the limit may result in throttling.
PMEM (Physical Memory)
The amount of RAM allocated to the account.
Example: 4GB PMEM = 4GB available system memory.
I/O (Input/Output Throughput)
Controls disk read/write speed.
Example: 1MB/s I/O ≈ 10 Mbps file transfer speed.
IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second)
Limits the number of disk operations per second.
Example: 512 IOPS = 512 read/write operations per second.
EP (Entry Processes)
Defines how many concurrent requests a user can handle.
Higher EP values support more simultaneous connections.
NPROC (Number of Processes)
The maximum number of active processes allowed at one time.
Example: 50 NPROC = 50 concurrent running processes.
